If you give gifts to customers to express your gratitude for their business, you may like to show this fact on your invoices. This template addresses that by modifying the Excel formulas used for the line total cells.
To create this gift invoice template, we first move the entire "Line total" column out of the printable area.
Tip: Use Excel's "Format Painter" to quickly restore the original formats for the moved section.
Next, assign formulas to the original "Line total" column inside the printable area. For example, the first "Line total" cell inside the printable area has a formula like this:
=IF(oknProductName_1="","",IF(oknLineTotal_1=0,"GIFT",oknLineTotal_1))
This Excel formula means that, if the "oknProductName_1" cell (i.e., the "Description" cell) is empty, the "Line total" shows empty too; otherwise, if the calculated line total is zero, it shows "GIFT"; otherwise, it shows the calculated amount.
