Auto Repair Service Invoice with Car Lift Background Image

If you are running an auto repair shop, car mechanic shop, or repair garage and need a quick and easy solution for invoicing, this template could be your choice.

The template includes several fields that are useful for auto care services: the "Insurance Information" section, the "R.O.#", "Year, "Make", "Model", and "Color" fields. The "Date" field now has a new label, "Date In". A new field is also added below it, "Time In".

The detail section has five columns. The "#" column, which is usually labeled as "Item #" or "Product ID" on many other templates here, supports in-cell lookup.

The template has a car lift image set as the printable watermark. This makes the design different from others. If you prefer to save some ink on printing, you can easily remove the car lift image by following the steps below.

1. Backup the Excel template.
2. Open the template.
3. Click the "Design Mode" button on the ribbon tab to switch to design mode.
4. Go to the Excel "Page Layout" ribbon tab and click the "down arrow" button in the "Page Setup" group. This opens the "Page Setup" dialog box.
5. Click and activate the "Header / Footer" tab.
6. Click the "Custom Header" button.
7. Delete all the content in the "Center Section" box.
8. Click OK on each dialog box to close it.
9. Exit design mode.
10. Save the template.

Now you have a revised version that has the car lift background image removed.
